Through Adam God showed that human nature has strong temptations. This is why even if a person has 99%, he will seek the remaining 1%. We have to divert this desire toward the world Hereafter. This is the test of every person.
A human being has unlimited desires. A person wants to have everything. Adam was settled in Paradise. The whole of Paradise was open to him. It had numerous trees, all of which he could access. He was told about a single tree: "Do not approach this tree lest you become wrongdoers." (2:35)
Adam then became curious about this tree and sought to have the tree's fruit. A person has a strong temptation to achieve what he doesn’t have yet. If a person is given 99% of things and is deprived of only 1%, he will run toward this 1%, just as Adam did. Through Adam God showed that human nature has strong temptations. This is why even if a person has 99%, he will seek the remaining 1%. We have to divert this desire toward the world Hereafter. This is the test of every person. There two tests which every person is put to. Majority people fail in standing up to this test .The first test is freedom. But majority people misuse their freedom, and fail here. The second point of test is that God has given you potential and capabilities, but you under-utilize them.
If you use yourself to earn money, you are under-utilizing yourself. These are the two tests of every individual. Misuse of freedom is wrong, and under-utilization of the self is also wrong.
